Weekends are a time for relaxing and there is no better way than with a gin and tonic in hand and a breath-taking ocean view.

Those lucky enough to live on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, or visiting, can do just this with a gin and tonic overlooking the Indian Ocean on the Driftwood terrace at Wild Coast Sun every Saturday from 13h00 till late.

Say cheers with the Fitch & Leedes gin and tonic and Wild Coast Sun special – buy the gin and get the tonic on the house.

And then for the ultimate relaxation, the last Saturday of the month, gin ’o clock takes place on the resorts lush Driftwood Terrace lawns and enjoyed with a picnic hamper.

Due to Covid-19 health and safety protocol, all visitors to the hotel must book in advance and undergo a screening at the resort entrance upon arrival.

Towards the end of 2020, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa upgraded Sun International’s only beachfront resort to four stars in the hotel category, following recent upgrades and improvements.

Located just 5km from Port Edward, the resort straddles the border between KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape provinces. It is a two-hour drive from Durban’s King Shaka International Airport.
