I actually can’t think of a better way to bring in the new year than on top of the highest peak in South Africa. All you South Africans out there, this is your birth right. I do this hike over 5 days so we can really enjoy these magnificent mountains. Cost is R4750 per person and includes all the food which I cook, hiking permits and tents plus staying at Injisuthi the night before and having a nice braai. Other costs are R1500 per person to have porters carry your tent and food. Please email ian@drakensberghiker.co.za for more info.
